Yosemite - Three Perspectives

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! These three images are of Yosemite during the same trip. I wanted to capture different moods and lighting. It is amazing how the light varied in such a short period of time! I love it when there are clouds in the sky...it makes the image so much more interesting! What do you think?

  1. Your right about the clouds! My favorite is the last image of El Capitan - mysterious!

  2. The color variation is spectacular. I wonder how else you could approach these photographs to make them individual to you, and to look less like postcard photographs.

  3. Three different moods for sure! My favourite is the first one and the way it shows how dramatic nature can be. Great stuff!!

  4. I Like them all It's one of my favorite places and your photography is great, Thank you for sharing from this perspective. Each one is not at eye level which I can appreciate very much.

  5. My favorite of the three is the last image. You caught the clouds with perfect timing. It feels like the mountain is emerging as a survivor from a cataclysmic disaster.

  6. Ah, Yosemite. Another place that makes it hard to take bad photographs. I like your comparison here of light, time of day, weather... a good learning perspective.

  7. My favorite is the first photograph. It's very dramatic. And for the second photo I would recommend maybe trying a polarizer.

  8. The last image is my favorite of the three,
the rock peering out of the clouds makes it very dramatic.
