I took this photo just outside of my house, and tried to edit it in camera raw. Unfortunately, I couldn't lighten it too much, because of the lights in the background. I think I will have to try this assignment again, in a location without artificial lighting.
I love the idea of this assignment though!
The trees look like they're shot in daylight. The lights give a big clue that the image was shot after dusk. The only problem I have is the right bottom corner. My eye keeps going down to that spot. Either you needed to move the camera to crop it out or fill it in in photoshop. Good going though.
