Nice thinking T. I love having my camera handy when I see something that grabs me, for whatever reason. I like the warmth and the thoughtfullness of what you shot.
Also, on a technical side, I think I would have liked to shoot tighter or crop the image to lose a lot of the black area above the statue. Maybe a square image? I love the tiles in the floor, and maybe even more tile coming forward. The black shadows that swallow up the kneeling figure work perfectly.
