Crystal Cove Polaroid

Since I have been unable to get pictures off my phone lately, I thought I would post a polaroid I took while doing my Location project. I have at least 10 unopened boxes of polaroid film in my refrigerator , all expired, so I have been trying to take more pictures with that camera. I love the way the colors have started to fade on the film.

time and space.

shinichi maruyama is an incredible artist. he is a cross between a painter/photographer/performance artist. he photographs the forms of water as it moves through space. he has also completed a video of his work. he calls his work "water sculpture."

Mid day ломо

On the way to school today I was stuck for about 2 hours waiting for the bus at the NoHo red line station and so I decided to shoot some photos with my iPhones lomography app. This was one of my favorites. Outlined

I took this picture with my cell phone while on a walk with my husband on a paseo near our house. The profile of the tree against the blue sky is what caught my attention. I also like the way the lines (branches) fill the entire frame, but still allow the color to come through.

Shrek

Does the shadow remind anyone of Shrek?
I took this with my cell phone. Good time of day for the lighting, but the color did not come out well - too blue. I didn't make any adjustments to the photo. Should we be?

Freeway

Yes, I was on the freeway when I snapped this with my cell phone. I thought the clouds looked amazing - filling the sky almost like hovering UFOs.

Buildings

Unfortunately, I wasn't really thinking about composition when I snapped this with my cell phone. Saw the light hitting the buildings, and snapped the picture, as I was wishing I had my camera. The megapixels on my phone are really low - 1.3 or something. Do you recognize this, Walter?

hello, world.

this is the santa monica pier late at night. i'm sure that with a real camera this could be a great photo.

but it's still pretty colorful with a camera phone.

Cell Phone Shot

Sunset shot on my daily run through my neighborhood in Canyon Country :)

Road Runners Call Box

During Spring break my parents and I decided to drive South, and go on a hot dry hike. It was a beautiful hot/ windy day in the desert of palms. So we carried on further into this hike, and came to find an isolated Call Box, literally, in the middle of no where. I loved the idea of it, and I just loved everything about the scenery. Sure it can be considered a boring, nothing desert, but I grew up at a desert and learned to appreciate the nature surrounding this planet. Other than what I have said... That is all.

Antique Large Format Camera

I saw this camera in a museum and couldn't resist taking pictures of it and posting them here :)

More Cell Pictures

Can anyone tell me what kind of flower this is???

Cell phone picture.
This is what happens when you leave a hungry/bored child alone. ;)

Cell phone camera

My cell phone camera is only 1.3 megs so the quality of this image is poor. I think the shot creates a semi-illusion. Sometimes accidents happen! And no, I don't text while I'm driving!
